Isabelle Schluep est professeure associée et co-responsable du « Food Ecosystem Institute » à la Haute école de gestion Fribourg depuis 2022. Elle est responsable de la formation postgrade (CAS) «ESG und nachhaltige Führung». Elle réalise divers projets de recherche interdisciplinaires au sein de la HEG-FR. Auparavant, elle a travaillé comme cheffe de projet, chercheuse, conférencière et mentor pour des étudiant-e-s dans le milieu universitaire et pendant six ans comme praticienne des politiques publiques au sein du gouvernement suisse (SECO). Elle a une longue expérience et une connaissance approfondie des marchés agricoles et alimentaires mondiaux, des politiques économiques, du système commercial international, de la finance durable, des évaluations d'impact et du développement d'outils pour mesurer la durabilité. Elle est titulaire d’un doctorat en économie agricole de l’EPF Zurich, d’un diplôme d’ingénieur agronome EPF Zurich, d’un master en économie de Iowa State University, d’un master en économie agricole de Cornell University, et d’un master en droit des affaires internationales de University of Cumbria.
Isabelle Schluep ist seit 2022 assoziierte Professorin und Co-Direktorin des «Food Ecosystem Institute» an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft Freiburg. Sie ist verantwortlich für den Zertifikatslehrgang (CAS) in «ESG und nachhaltige Führung». Sie führt verschiedene interdisziplinäre Forschungsprojekte an der HSW-FR durch. Zuvor arbeitete sie als Projektleiterin, Forscherin, Dozentin und Mentorin für Studierende im universitären Umfeld und während sechs Jahren im Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft (SECO) im Bereich der Wirtschaftspolitik. Sie verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrungen und Kenntnisse in den Bereichen globale Agrarmärkte, Wirtschaftspolitik, internationales Handelssystem, nachhaltige Finanzen, Folgenabschätzungen und Entwicklung von Instrumenten zur Messung der Nachhaltigkeit. Sie ist promovierte Agrarökonomin ETH und diplomierte Ingenieur-Agronomin ETH. Sie verfügt über einen Master-Abschluss in Wirtschaftswissenschaften der Iowa State University, einen Master-Abschluss in Agrarökonomie der Cornell University und einen Master-Abschluss in internationalem Wirtschaftsrecht der University of Cumbria.
