From March 11 to 15, 2024, the School of Management Fribourg organized a Digital Cleanup Week, including practical workshops for its staff.
The event was inspired by Digital Cleanup Day, an international initiative dedicated to cleaning up our digital lives. It was organized by HEG-FR's Sustainability group in conjunction with HES-SO's Digital Responsibility working group and other HES-SO schools. Its aim was to raise awareness among employees and students alike of the environmental and social impact of digital technology, particularly through the purchase and use of devices.
Three “Digital Fresco” workshops were organized for staff and students during the week (two in French and one in German) as part of the Fundamentals of Sustainable business and management course. A total of 42 people took part in these fun, interactive workshops.
