Ventures in Action (ViA) is an innovative teaching module, unique in Switzerland. It was developed by the School of Management Fribourg as part of the Master of Science in Business Administration, major in Entrepreneurship. The program offers students the opportunity to set up their own company, thereby fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the canton of Fribourg. This experience enriches the theoretical aspects of their education by confronting them with real-world practice. Throughout their project, students are supported by coaches from various fields who are themselves entrepreneurs.
ViA enables students to turn ideas into action by developing a real product or service. Through personalized support and hands-on experience, they acquire skills in entrepreneurship, sales, and customer relations, while testing their offering against market realities and transforming their learning into directly transferable professional competencies.
